General Settings Tab
Note: By default, opening the Settings window will anchor to this tab.
- Theme: theme selection control (availability may vary by build mode).
- Toolbar alignment: left/center/right panorama alignment preference.
- Created By Tagline: user preference to enable/disable the "Created by Virtual Mailer" footer tag on outgoing messages (defaults to checked).
- Log files list: displays app log files and opens selected logs on double-click.
- About: opens product About/Splash dialog.
Licensing Tab
- Status area: shows current license/trial status. The title bar of the application is updated dynamically to reflect the current active operational tier (Basic, Professional, Agency).
- License key input: paste signed key.
- Activate License: verifies and persists the license token.
A remaining-days indicator is expected only for finite Professional trial licenses. Perpetual licenses or Early Access accounts will intentionally display a "Perpetual" status.
License Tier Behavior (User View)

| Basic | Free mode with policy limits and upgrade path. |
| Professional Perpetual | Perpetual Professional status (no trial countdown). |
| Professional Trial | Professional trial status with expiration and days remaining. |
| Agency | Agency status with additional multi-database capability. |
Troubleshooting in Settings
- If activation fails, validate key formatting and source service output.
- If theme or alignment appears unchanged, restart main form after applying preferences.
- Use logs for send failures, tracking errors, or import exceptions.
